moreWeak acid cation (WAC) exchange resin is a type of ion exchange resin with carboxylic acid functional groups (RCOO–). Similar to strong acid cation (SAC) exchange resins, WAC resins swap cations for hydrogen ions, resulting in slightly greater acidity in the treated stream, used for Industrial Demineralization, Softening, and Dealkalization Applications. It is a general-purpose dealkalization and softening resin with a long-established track record of reliable performance in the industry.
moreStrong Base Anion Exchange Resin(SBA) is mixture of styrene crosslinked with DVB ,macropous structure, quaternary ammonium functional group, supplied in Cl form. The porous structure allows more efficient removal of large organic molecules using both adsorption and ion exchange properties to capture those contaminants.
moreStrong Base Anion Exchange Resin(SBA) is mixture of styrene crosslinked with DVB ,gel type, containing -N (CH3) 3,classfied as Type I and Type II,supplied in Cl and OH form.It has a higher breaking weight and good mechanical strength, offer higher activity levels (working capacity),widely used for the preparation of pure water, wastewater treatment, biochemical products and hydrometallurgy extraction of gold, silver, tungsten, molybdenum and other metals. Resin particles are avaiable in standard size and uniform particle size(UPS),supplied in industrial grade and food grade(certified with FDA ).
moreWeak base anion exchange resins refer to a type of ion exchange resin with weakly basic groups, such as primary amine groups (also known as primary amine groups) -NH2, secondary amine groups (secondary amine groups) -NHR, or tertiary amine groups (tertiary amine groups) Base)-NR2. They can dissociate from OH- in water and become weakly alkaline. Due to poor dissociation, this resin can only adsorb other anions in the solution under neutral or acidic conditions (such as pH1-9). The weakly basic anion exchange resin can be regenerated with Na2CO3 and NH4OH.
moremixed bed products will provide excellent results for industrial applications such as: Mixed bed polisher after demineralization system Electrical discharge machining (EDM) Partial demineralization with acrylic weak base anion Condensate polishing Mixed bed polisher after reverse osmosis (RO) Cartridges
moreMacroporous adsorbent resin is a kind of separation material which combines the principle of adsorption and screening, with low-mid-high polirity. The adsorption essence of macroporous resin is a surface adsorption phenomenon caused by highly dispersed objects or uneven surface molecules
moreChelating resins contains special functional groups that give these resins superior selectivity for specific target ions. This selectivity is beneficial for challenging separations where typical strong acid cation or strong base anion resins are ineffective, mainly where high concentrations of competitive ions are present, or when very low residual leakage is required. Chelating products work differently from ion exchange resins by forming strong complexes with the target ion and the functional groups on the resin. Depending on the chelating product used, regeneration is possible by disrupting the complex formation or by using a competing ligand that is more favorable than the resin functional group. Common applications for chelating ion exchange resins include: Brine decalcification in the chlor-alkali industry Resin-in-pulp (RIP) for base metal capture (copper, nickel, cobalt, zinc) Removal of hexavalent chromium from potable water Removal of boron in semiconductor process water Recovery of high-value precious metal catalysts Removal of mercury, regenerable and non-regenerable

Unused resins, in their original packaging, can be stored under proper conditions for longer than their recommended shelf life without experiencing a decline in their physical properties, in most cases. Standard demineralizing and softening resins experience minimal change in chemical properties over a two-year shelf life.

Ion exchange is the reversible interchange of ions between a solid and a liquid such as water. Ion exchange resins remove harmful contaminants from liquids, replacing them with beneficial, desired ions. Ion exchange is used in water treatment, including water softening, industrial demineralization, condensate polishing, ultrapure water production, and wastewater treatment. It can also provide a method of separation in many nonwater processes, such as desiccation and chromatographic separation. It has special utility in chemical synthesis, manufacturing, food processing, mining, power industry, agriculture, and a variety of applications .

When it comes to water treatment, ion exchange resins are one of the most popular methods of removing impurities. These resins are highly effective at removing unwanted minerals and contaminants from water, but with so many different types of ion exchange resins available, it can be difficult to know which one is right for your specific needs. In this article, we will explore the various types of ion exchange resins and provide guidance on how to choose the right one for your application.

Cation Exchange Resins contain negatively charged functional groups, which attract positively charged ions in solution. One of its applications is separating positive ions from contaminated water. Cation Exchange Resins are also further classified into two sub-groups: Strong acid cation (SAC) resins: They are made of polystyrene with a sulfonate functional group (SO3-) that is either charged with hydrogen ions (H+) or sodium ions (Na2+). Weak acid cation (WAC) resins: They are composed of acrylic polymer with carboxylic acid groups as functional groups and have a high affinity for hydrogen ions. These are commonly used to remove alkalinity-associated cations.
